It has geometry 3d now and does not have such a heavy performance impact with it. FS22 now with the upgraded engine seems to overcome this and in my opinion is now on the list of the games that work very good with vorpx. It worked with geometry 3d without glitches, but the performance impact was so heavy that it was not really enjoyable, no matter what hardware you used. There are also not many that can do it without major performance impact too. Not every game can be rendered in Geometry 3D (real 3d) without glitches. With vorpx you must be lucky to have really good results. But they also usually have VR controller support so it's difficult to compare with native VR games. Usually native VR games have relatively poor graphics for the sake of performance. With some games its working very well, with others not really. But its only for the first few minutes until the game has loaded everything it needs.

Therefore in the beginning of a game session there are micro stutters happening. In Dx11 mode, the game obviously is using the main thread to load stuff in the background.

One issue is there though, but its not really a problem. However even with Dx11 and TAA it looks no any worse and performs well too. But it now works only when the game is running in Dx11 mode and also it does not work with DLSS enabled yet. He already released a preliminary profile for FS22, that enables Geometry 3D (real 3d, not fake z-buffer 3d). However the author has promised that its definetelly going to be supported as soon as possible.

VorpX for today does not officially fully support FS22 yet, as it was just released. FS19 was disappointing, but now its much better. Just for FS22 vorpx is worth it already i would say. I've gone back and forth on the idea of getting vorpX.

I wonder why Giants didn't provide native VR support option, like Asobo did with their Flight Simulator in example. This was impossible in FS19 even with the best iron on market. Now i can run it in 2k per eye resolution with Very High Settings and its still holding over 55 fps. FS22 performs a lot better with Vorpx then FS19 did. I didn't expect any surprises from Giants 9.0 engine behind FS22 too, but i was proved wrong. I struggled with the performance with it and needed to tune down the graphics to minimums where it looked like puke. I have already played FS19 in VR with VorpX, though the Giants 8.0 engine behind FS19 was not performing well with vorpx. You don't have to orbit outside cam to set the fork right. Even collecting and stappling bales with the fork from the cockpit view is now incredible fun and very easy, as you have the feel for distances and can lean left/right up/down to look around obsticles. Stereo 3D and 6DOF is amazing in FS, it puts you into the game. I can tell you, this is mindblowing! Its a whole new level of immersion.
